sarah burton's pre-fall collection for alexander mcqueen captured all of the design flourishes that mcqueen himself was so lauded for.  mcqueen was the master of creating beautiful silhouettes and they were present here along with impeccable tailoring and intricate detailing.  burton has stayed true to alexander mcqueen's vision and it has been a delight to watch her deliver stunning collections each season.

one of my favorite things about winter: fur. in every form imaginable i love it and i can't get enough. it is so luxurious and chic and the colder it gets the more i pile on.

LDR "Born to Die"

say what you will about Lana Del Ray but there is something about this song and the video that accompanies it that i just can't get enough of.   to start: the catholic imagery, the white leather fringe jacket, the references to "rebel without a cause", the inky eyeliner and the tallskinnytattooed boy.  i love it all.
